ODOS-Endorsed Candidates for Denver Public Schools
On November 4th, Denver voters will select four school board members. Our Denver, Our Schools supports the election of these four candidates:

Xóchitl Gaytán – District 2 Southwest
Xóchitl is endorsed by DCTA, CEA, Colorado Working Families Party

DJ Torres – District 3 Central
DJ is endorsed by DCTA, CEA, Colorado Working Families Party, Denver Area Labor Federation, The American Federation of Teachers-Colorado and Rocky Mountain Equality Action Fund, Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 9.

Monica Hunter – District 4 – Northeast / Far Northeast
Monica is endorsed by DCTA, CEA, Colorado Working Families Party, American Federation of Teachers, Planned Parenthood votes Colorado and Denver Area Labor Federation

Amy Klein Molk – At-Large
Amy is endorsed by DCTA, CEA, Denver Area Labor Federation, Planned Parenthood Votes Colorado and Rocky Mountain Equality Action Fund
We believe they will represent the “authentic” voices of parents, educators, students, and citizens across the city. They are supported by working people, teachers, labor union members, parents, and neighborhood school activists. We are very concerned that the slate supported by Denver Families Action is funded with billionaire money. They are using a dark money system to promote their candidates by giving up to a million dollars to the Independent Expenditure, Better leaders Stronger Scholols.
If citizens see flyers or TV ads with this group’s name, know that it is being paid for with billionaire money. In today’s times, it’s important that we give voice to our teachers, parents and community and not to out of state billionaires who should have no input in our local public neighborhood schools or our school district.
